This course does provide training on how to respond to life threatening emergencies using basic life support measures. With this course, one will be able to acquire the skills and knowledge needed to provide first aid response, life support, and management of casualty, the incident and other first aid until the arrival of medical assistance. It also includes CPR. After completion, The First Aid Group (RTO number 32268) will issue the certificate and it is valid for 3 years. Also, the Australian resuscitation council recommends that the CPR component needs to be updated every 12 months.

Courses in Wagga Wagga are run once a week and the venue is at Riverine Club Wagga Cnr of Tarcutta St and Sturt St Wagga NSW 2650.

Courses in Shepparton are run forthnightly and starts at 10am (Venue for Shepparton is Comfort Inn Peppermill 7900 Goulburn Valley HWY, Shepparton VIC 3630). Prior to attendance please complete the online course for First Aid and Childcare First Aid only. CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis does not require online course.
Courses in Albury/Wodonga are run twice weekly and the venue is at Hotel Boomerang 312-316 Wagga rd Lavington NSW 2641.
